Being a Mantic Pathfinder and a Mantic DreadBall Fanatic, I often get asked about how to play with several DreadBall teams. What tactics they should play, which are their strongest points or just their flaws. What MVP's should we really go with, and how will the team grow in a league? Trying to educate people in a group, I thought I'd write my opinion down for all the teams. Now let's meet the ladies that make up the Void Sirens.

Void Sirens
After months of playing, even the misses gets interested in the models. So I introduced the Void Sirens to her. Just kidding, she actually plays Nameless, but more about that later.
The Void Sirens are a Human team, and get a default statline because of this. They do however have another division than their male counterparts that make them stand out.
Starting with 100mc funds these ladies walk the pitch with a whopping 4 coaching dice but no DreadBall Cards and the following players

That's an unexpected team. 1 Guard, 3 Strikers and 4 Jacks. Interesting. Add Running Interference to them and you get a decent team up for scoring AND annoying the other player. Hey, it are females! ^_-
Running Interference
Whenever you get too close to certain women, they lash out at you.. this is translated in Running Interference. Running Interference allows you to perform a slam when an opponent passes within 1 hex of you.
This means you get a 'free' slam action during the other players turn that can be used to block an opponent's move or even knock them out. A minor setback is that every Jack can only do this once per game.

Hell has no fury..
Think of this team as the other Corporation team, only with some striking advancements. Thanks to your 3 Strikers this team moves really fast. This needs to be abused! Next to that, your Jacks have Running Interference, making them excellent blockers. Thanks to this, we can spread our team a bit wider, covering more space to potentially block. Placement goes a bit like this

There we go! Going first is perfect. Not only can we control this field, we can rush this field and score with precision. Try and go for the quick scoring, and use the Jacks to prevent a counter-attack. Don't forget you've got 4 Coaching dice that can certainly help you in those important moments.
When standing in a defensive position, keep your Guard in a center position, and use the Jacks for zone defending. Do remember that the Running Interference can only be used once, so use it wisely! Knocking the ball out of a player's hands not only costs them their turn, but can potentially mean that you'll score again!
When needed, you can also use the RI to protect your Strikers from being Slammed by your opponent.
Ladies @ the League
League play is very rewarding for your ladies. Try to go for 3-pointers in order to gain some XP, and certainly upgrade your Skill in order to be even more effective. Your Jacks will be of invaluable worth once they level. Be certain to use those coaching dice in order to let them score (or slam another unlucky opponent).
When improving your team, an Offensive Coach lends himself perfectly, as do some Cards. having an extra Guard might weigh up to the use of another Jack, but that's mostly up to personal playstyle.

MVP's on the walkway
Anne-Marie Gelder is the Prima Donna of the DreadBall league. Having Grizzled and Does That Hurt, this Guard certainly can stand her ground on the playing field. Funny part is she really wants to be a Striker, so be prepared to have a bulky Striker! Does this MVP not suit your needs, a more agile MVP like Number 88 or Mellisandra will certainly be an asset to your team!

Overall
The Void Sirens are a great team that allow for players to be as much threatening in single games as in Leagues. They might have but average stats, but they are reliable and allow you to respond to different situations very quickly!
