DreadBall: Living FAQ

Over the time of playing, lots of questions are being asked. So I'm trying to bundle them here. If you have any, don't hesitate to leave me a comment. Be it a rule question, or a situation, I try to give my opinion about it. This living FAQ is also used during my TournaRaz to make final decisions!

Official DreadBall Living FAQ

This is where I put my gears down!

Q: Does standing on the score hex block it?

A: No, it does NOT block the scoring hex. Neither from you, nor your enemy. Since we assume that DreadBall is a futuristic game, we can safely agree they have some sort of communication which would mean they'd jump up, or something when a team mate is trying to score. On the other hand, the opponent can't block the entire surface of the scoring hex, making it possible to score.
R: If you stand BEFORE the hex, you're still blocking it.. (well.. if it's the shortest route)

Q: Did you know...

A: That your catcher has to face the thrower in order to catch the ball! Take this into account when planning your actions. (Unless the catcher has 360 vision)

Q: Did you know...

A: That throwing the ball at your opponent (to wound him) is NOT a foul! Though it IS a turn-over (if you don't catch it again. This can prove to be a worthy, though dangerous tactic.
