DreadBall: TournaRaz 2k14: Day One - Match Three


The last match of the first day as played, this time two Robot teams faced each other in a daring duel. "The Scrapyard Bits" were challenged by "TITANS". These two starting teams were oiled up and ready to start.  Our resident referee Sar-u-man threw in the ball..

"The Scrapyard Bits"   vs.   "TITANS"

Rush 1 - "The Scrapyard Bits"

Number 2, Jack Carburateur transforms into a guard and attacks number 2, Jack Juno dealing 3 damage! Number 4, Jack Chargebuuze picks up the ball and moves behind number 2, Guard Carburateur while the rest of the team tries to back him up in a effort to protect him.

Rush 2 - "TITANS"

Number 3, Jack Xerxes becomes a Guard and dives in to slam Number 2, Guard Carburateur. Failing to slam him, Number 4, Jack Ajax transforms to a Guard as well in an attempt to slam Carburateur, but only pushing him back.

Rush 3 - "The Scrapyard Bits"

Number 1, Jack Delco transforms to a Guard and charges number 4, Guard Ajax pushing him back. Meanwhile Number 4, Jack Chargebuuze moves up and opens the score with a nice 2-pointer!

Rush 4 - "TITANS"

The ball gets thrown in and ends up in the middle of the home scoring zone. Number 4, Guard Ajax goes in to slam Number 1 Guard Delco just to push him back. He then goes and slams number 4, Jack Chargebuuze to a vengefull death dealing 4 damage. Number 3, Guard Xerxes tries to slam number 2, Guard Carburateur who simply dodges the slam. Number 1, Jack Agamemnon tries to pick up the ball, but fumbles and drops the ball.

Rush 5 - "The Scrapyard Bits"

Number 5, Jack Bluts morphs into a Guard then storms towards number 1, Jack Agamemnon, dealing him 1 damage. Number 1, Guard Delco pushes back number 3, Guard Xerxes, while number 2 Guard Carburateur knocks down number 3, Guard Xerxes. Afterwards number 6, Jack Capeau picks up the ball and moves forward.

Rush 6 - "TITANS"

Number 3, Guard Xerxes stands up, while number 6, Jack Dante morphs into a Guard and tries to hit number 2, Guard Carburateur.
Number 5, Jack Barbarossa shifts to Guard and attacks Carburateur as well knocking him down.
Number 2, Guard Juno moves up the pitch and tries to knock down number 5, Guard Bluts but gets pushed back herself.

Rush 7 - "The Scrapyard Bits"

Number 2, Guard Carburateur stands up from between the enemies, while number 5, Guard Bluts runs up to Number 5, Jack Barbarossa who dodges the incoming attack. Number 1, Guard Delco attack number 6, Guard Dante, but gets knocked down for failing.

Rush 8 - "TITANS"

Number 3, Guard Xerxes slams number 2, Guard Carburateur, pushing him back. While number 3, Guard Xerxes slams number 3, Jack Startmoteur pushing him back. Number 5, Jack Barbarossa slams number 5, Guard Bluts, knocking him down for 3 turns. Then he runs towards Startmoteur, pushing him further back.
Number 4, Guard Ajax tries to slam number 2, Guard Carburateur, and knocks him out for 2 turns.

Rush 9 - "The Scrapyard Bits"

Number 1, Delco stands up and hits Ajax only to get knocked down again! Startmoteur shifts to Guard then slams number 3, Guard Xerxes pushing him back. Feeling hardpressed he turns to number 2, Guard Juno, killing her with a powerful slam!

Rush 10 - "TITANS"

Guard Ajax moves up, and slams number 6, Capeau, who was still holding the ball, killing him on the spot!
Number 6, Guard Dante moves to Startmoteur, pushing him back with a slam, so Xerxes tries to slam him  again missing all hits.

Rush 11 - "The Scrapyard Bits"

Delco stands up again and looks around, seeing a hopeless situation.. Number 3, Startmoteur goes in to slam number 3, Guard Xerxes but fails. He tries again but even gets pushed back!

Rush 12 - "TITANS"

With the end of the game coming near number 6, Guard Dante tries to slam number 3 Guard Startmoteur, but fails. Number 3, Guard Xerxes turns into striker, and number 4, Ajax turns to a striker over 2 turns, needing to reset his servo's. Number 3, Striker Xerxes tries to pick up the ball, fails but luckily catches the ball again when it rebounded against the wall.

Rush 13 - "The Scrapyard Bits"

Number 2, Guard Carburateur moves up the board and slams number 3, Striker Xerxes, pushing him back. He tries again but Xerxes dodges all incoming hits. Number 1, Guard Delco moves back to defense and in unified effort tries to slam Xerxes again, only pushing him back.  Guard Startmoteur tries to slam number 6, Guard Dante but he stands his ground

Rush 14 - "TITANS"

With only a last chance left, number 6, Guard Dante slams number 3, Guard Startmoteur but only pushes him back. This allows number 3, Striker Xerxes to dodge all opponents and make a long pass to number 4, Striker Ajax who tactically positioned himself. Striker Ajax throws to score the decisive goal and scores the 3 pointer, ending this game.

TITANS stand victorious

Aftermath

After an exciting match, "TITANS" end up being victorious, thanks to their hero number 4, Ajax, who is awarded extra bits to increase his Strength. Number 2, Juno is traded in for bits. But the core was preserved and put into a brand new model, welcoming a new player to team "TITANS", Juno.
"The scrapyard bits" aren't so lucky and while number 6, Jack Capeau was traded in for the bits, number 4, Jack Chargebuuze makes a complete recovery.

Disney Infinity 3.0: Review (PS4)

Star Wars is making a new debut this fall and many other corporations and brands are feeling the downpour of pressure in order to produce something linking them to this upcoming success. Disney, as owner of the franchisse jumped at the opportunity to create another fantastic enjoyable game (with the needed DLC and extra purchases). Disney Infinity 3.0 was introduced bringing us an upgrade for the 2014 hit Disney Infinity 2.0, but is it better than the previous, or simply another copy of the previous.. Play whatever you want!
