DreadBall: TournaRaz 2k14: Day Two - Match One

Starting day 2, the previously beaten "Stark Raving", stand up and challenge "TITANS" to a matchup. While the coach of "Stark Raving" thinks out his tactics, team "TITANS" just oils their gears getting ready for another exciting match. "Stark Raving" kicks off this game.

"Stark Raving"   vs.   "TITANS"

Rush 1 - "Stark Raving"

The game starts with number 8, Guard Eddard moving up the pitch towards the opponent's biggest threat. He tries to go for it but fumbles, needing another turn to stand up. Guard number 7, Robb sees his failure and moves up to number 4, Jack Ajax, trying to slam the robot. Number 3, Striker Rickon picks  up the ball and moves toward the scoring zone.

Rush 2 - "TITANS"

number 4, Ajax and number 5, Barbarossa transform into Guards. Guard Barbarossa slams into number 7, Guard Robb knocking him to the ground while number 4, Guard Ajax slams number 8, Guard Eddard down.

Rush 3 - "Stark Raving"

Striker Rickon sprints towards the scoring zone, followed by number 1, Striker Tony who sprints towards the 4point score zone. Rickon passes the ball to Tony who catches the ball and scores the opening 4 points!

Rush 4 - "TITANS"

The ball rebounds against the walls and lands in the middle of the Home scoring zone. The Guard Ajax turns around and slams number 3, Striker Rickon, killing him from behind. Rushing forwards he tries to slam the Guard Robb who dodges the incoming threat. Guard Barbarossa slams Striker Tony taking him out for a rush. Number 2, Jack Juno moves up to the center pitch while number 6, Jack Dante picks up the ball, sprints forwards and scores an incredible 4 pointer, evening the score.

Rush 5 - "Stark Raving"

The ball gets thrown in, rebounds against the wall and bunces into the hands of the luck Jack Dante!
Eddard stands up and tries to slam number 1, Jack Agamemnon , while Robb stands up and tries to slam Barbarossa. Both fail keeping face. Robb then ducks out and tries to slam the Jack Dante who dodges the slam. Number 6, Jack Theon then goes and steals the ball off Dante.

Rush 6 - "TITANS"

number 4, Guard Ajax feeling insulted goes after number 7, Guard Robb taking him out for a rush. He then focusses on Eddard gavely wounding him. Number 5, Guard Barbarossa slams into number 6, Jack Theon wounding him. With only a few opponents left, number 2, Jack Juno transforms to a Striker and scores 2 points due to another lucky throw! This puts "TITANS" in the lead with 0 - 2.

Rush 7 - "Stark Raving"

Feeling heavily outnumbered number 2, Striker Arya sprints forward towards the closest scoring hexes. Striker Tony sprints towards the ball and in one fell swoop picks it up and throws it at Arya. Arya catches the ball and aims at the 2 pointer hex, but the ball scatters.

Rush 8 - "TITANS"

Ajax slams into Arya pushing her back twice. while number 5, Barbarossa starts to threaten Tony, number 6, Jack Dante picks up the ball.

Rush 9 - "Stark Raving"

As the only Guard left, Robb slams number 4, Guard Ajax knocking him down. Number 2, Striker Arya steals the ball from Dante and tries to score again. She fails and the ball scatters to the center field.

Rush 10 - "TITANS"

Number 5, Guard Barbarossa tries to slam number 1, Striker Tony who dodges the blows. He focusses his attention on Robb an kills him with one swing dealing a whopping 8 damage. Number 4, Guard Ajax stumbles getting up, but goes after Arya. He runs towards her and slays her where she stood. Jack Agamemnon stands up, ending this rush.

Rush 11 - "Stark Raving"

The pressure is certainly on, and the numbers are few. While Striker Tony sprints up the field towards the ball, number 8, Guard Eddard returns back on the pitch. Eddard slams Guard Barbarossa taking him out with one wound. Number 5, Jack Brandon sprints towards number 2, Striker Juno pushing him back to clear the way for number 1, Striker Tony. Tony picks up the ball moving forward and scoring 3 points, making "Stark Raving" lead again with 1 - 0.

Rush 12 - "TITANS"

The ball gets thrown in and lands in the center court.
number 4, Guard Ajax takes revenge and slams Tony wounding him, effectively removing him from game. Number 6, Jack Dante transforms into a Striker and picks up the ball. He tries to score but the ball scatters.

Rush 13 - "Stark Raving"

Number 8, Guard Eddard tries to slam Striker Dante while Jack Theon picks up the ball. Having the ball, Theon still tries to slam Dante who easily dodges the slam. Both Eddard and Theon try to slam number 6, Striker Dante, who dodges all incoming attacks!

Rush 14 - "TITANS"

Ajax runs towards Guard Eddard taking him out with 1 wound. Striker Dante tries to steal the ball from Theon and knocks it out his hands. He picks it up and goes for the final 4 pointer.. and misses the hex, ending this match.

A sorely won match by "Stark Raving"

Aftermath

Barely winning the game with 1 - 0, but forcefully beaten, "Stark Raving" tries to pick up the pieces by reviving their fallen comrades using up the credits won in this match. Unfortunately neither Rickon or Brandon survive the procedure, while Arya makes a complete recovery. This leaves "Stark Raving" with a gaping wound. Luckily the experience left number 1, Striker Tony with an increase in Skill.
Although losing the match, "TITANS" are all but the losers. With number 4, Ajax gaining 360vision, he becomes a threat not to be left unchecked, while number 5, Barbarossa becomes used to the bruisings gaining quick recovery.
