Welcome to Fukuoka

Standing up a bit too late, we enjoyed a brief breakfast before packing up. Today we left Nagasaki to head for our last destination..
Goodbye Nagasaki!

Fukuoka

We arrived at Fukuoka, around noon. Easily time enough to drop our bags at the hotel and explore the town. We firstly visited one of the oldest wooden shrines. The Tochoji temple is the house of not only the biggest wooden Buddha statue, but also a place where you can see the Buddhist idea of hell. Surely a must visit, so no pictures allowed!
Though the outside was allowed!
Furthermore we spent some time walking around town, visiting some malls (and the pokémon center and EVA shop) before ending up in a gamestation again, where we had another great time and laugh. This time with a real 'catch your pokémon' game and some shooters, before heading to our hotel to freshen up and go out for dinner.
For our next-to-last dinner I chose a more traditional tepanyaki restaurant. We chose the classic plate which featured beef and pork intestines.
But it looked so good..
Safe to say the intestines are still wriggling in my stomach so we're resting in our hotel, thinking where to get our omiyage!
